Obituary

Rosa Mae passed from this life peacefully and entered into eternal rest at Life Care Center, Ocala, Florida on March 4, 2026.  A woman of remarkable strength, grace and kindness, she touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.  She will be remembered for her warm spirit, gentle wisdom, and the enduring love she shared with family and friends.

Rosa Mae was raised by her grandmother, Justina Givens together with her cousins, Henry Lee Williams, Theodore Brooks, John Lee Brooks, and Mary Lee Keiler-Jefferson after Justina's daughters Henrietta and Annabelle passed away.  She raised them as sisters and brothers.  Rosa Mae was the glue that held them together.

Rosa Mae was the proud mother of three children, seven grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her later years.

Rosa Mae's life was a testament of resilience and faith, and the memories she leaves behind will continue to inspire all who loved her. Though she is no longer with us, her light remains in the generations she touched.  Her family celebrates her life with gratitude and honors the beautiful legacy of love she leaves behind.  May she rest in eternal peace.
