Ronald Hambrick, Jr., affectionately known as Ronnie, was born on September 12, 1981, in New Port Richey, Florida, to Ronald Hambrick Sr. and Helen Singleton. He received his education in the Pasco County school system and was a cherished member of the True Vine Baptist Church in San Antonio, Texas.
Ronnie was known for his humor, friendliness, and willingness to lend a helping hand. His energetic personality shone brightly, especially when cheering on his favorite sports teams. He had a deep love for his family, particularly his grandson Ace, and enjoyed football, fashion, and good food.
On February 8, 2026, at the age of 44, Ronnie was called home. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James Earl Jr. and Luella Earl; paternal grandparents, Willie and Mary Louise Hambrick; and his first cousin, Michael Earl Marshall Sr.
Ronnie is survived by his loving wife, Shelia Hambrick; his mother, Helen Singleton; his father, Reverend Ronald Hambrick, Sr. (Theresa); his children and stepchildren, Ronald Hambrick III, Nikaya, Taylor, and Brook; his beloved grandson, Ace Hambrick; his siblings, Quiana Hambrick, Kia Green, Dexter Marshall (Vanessa), Derrek Singleton, Richard Singleton (Cassie), and George Singleton; his aunts, Nita Hambrick, Debra Frazier (Rico), and Shelia Earl (Anthony); his uncles, Ernest Earl (Grace) and James Earl (Jackie); special cousins, Darren Hambrick and Troy Hambrick; and his best friend, Andre "Bones" Simmons. He also leaves behind a host of cherished aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other dear friends who will continue to honor his life and legacy.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 38503 Mosstown Road, Dade City, FL 33523, presided over by Rev. Clyde E. Carter.
