Nathaniel Grady, affectionately known as 'Nate', was born on June 28, 1948, to the late James and Hazel Jackson Grady. He passed away on May 6, 2026. Nate was a man of many talents, having worked in various occupations throughout his life. However, his true passion was fishing, earning him the nickname 'Fish-Man Nate'. He was known for his love of fishing, his sense of humor, and his culinary skills, often sharing meals with friends and family.
Nate was predeceased by his beloved wife, Shirley Samuel Grady, and his daughter, Sheneka Samuel. He is survived by his reared daughters, Curita Ruth Samuel (Lawrence), and his reared sons, Elder Terrance Ible (Nicole), Jimmy Mitchell Sr, Jammie Jones Sr., and Craig Jones Sr. (Jessica). He also leaves behind his brother, Abraham Grady (Katrina), his sister, Altha Colbert (Chester), and his brother-in-law, Robert Dunston, along with numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.
A celebration of Nate's life will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 12:00 Noon at Mt. Moriah A.M.E. Church, located at 109 Old 44A, Wildwood, FL 34785, with Rev. Pamala Bivins officiating. Nate's legacy of love, laughter, and fishing will be cherished by all who knew him.
