On December 20, 2025, the family and friends of Mr. Rich gathered to celebrate his life at the Anderson-Hence Funeral Home Chapel in Wildwood, Florida. Born on July 17, 1959, Mr. Rich was a beloved father, companion, and friend. He is survived by his sons, Jahmar, Akeem, Tyron, Daunte, and Demetrius; his daughters, Latoya (Octavious) Blain, Santee, Andrea, and Cynthia; and his longtime companion, Ernestine Edwards. He also leaves behind his aunts, Sister Annie L. Johnson, Loretta Johnson, Juanita Yearby, and Vivian Tinsley; his uncle, Lewis Rich, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Chester Kirkwood Rich, Sr., his mother, whose name was not fully visible, and his brothers, Kenneth Rich, Chester K. Rich, Jr., and Edwin Rich. The service was presided over by Pastor Curtis Carter, with readings by Brother Frank Rich, Jr., and a song by Latoya Andrews Blain & Girls. Mr. Rich will be remembered for the love he shared with his family and the memories he leaves behind.
